Okay, so two days ago I wrote about one of my favorite places to hang out, but today I wanna touch on my ultimate favorite restaurant of all time, Jason's Deli! (Affectionately known to me and a bunch of my friends as Jason's "Freakin'" Deli....long story.)

If you've never been to Jason's I would suggest that you stop reading my blog right now and look up where the closest one is and drive there right now, no matter how far it might be. But if you continue to read this blog...I'll tell ya all about Jason's.

Think McAllister's Deli but better. Now I'm all for some McAllister's, but with Jason's you get all the delicious deli choices, including the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich (my personal fave), Turkey Clubs, all the sandwiches you could want. As for the Potatos, of course they have the HUGE potatoes (if you were wondering...it's really 2 potatoes pushed together). They have Pollo Mexicano Spud (my fave), Texas Spud, etc. On top of all that good stuff, they have some great soups and a salad bar that rivals Ruby Tuesday's!

But WAIT, there's more...did I mention that they bring the food to you with little delay and with any purchase you are welcome to the complimentary (FREE!), soft-serve ice cream machine!!! That just makes my trip right there. They even have delivery, and deliver breakfast which few places do.

It is located in most states now, though I wish there were more here in South Carolina. It was started in Texas, so there are tons found there. To top everything off, Jason's Deli is very affordable. Around $8.00 per person, this place is an awesome find!

Have you had the Jason's Freakin' Experience, yet? If so, please comment on your own experiences with what, in my opinion, is the best restaurant ever!

I just wanted to take a moment away from reviews for some reflection on this day, the 11th of September, the date that America...and the world, will never forget.

Today marks 7 years since that fateful morning in 2001 when America paused and watched in awe as we were brutally attacked on our own ground. Lives were lost, families were devastated, a nation was shocked.

I pray right now that the families who are still grieving on this day of remembrance will be comforted and be at peace now. I am sad every September 11th as I remember that day. I am sure that every single person remembers where they were that morning. I, myself, was in 9th grade in 2001. I was at school in my first class of the morning, which happened to be World History (how fitting). We always watched the school news in the morning before we got started. As we were about to take a test, another teacher ran to our classroom to tell the teacher to turn it back on to CNN. We were trying to grasp what all had happened so far when we watched live as the Second plane flew into the World Trade Center.

But do you know what saddens me even more? The fact that it takes something devastating like 9/11 to unite the United States of America. Do you remember all of the Patriotism? Do you remember the Red, White, and Blue flying high from buildings, signs, and every car window? Do you remember everyone being 10 times nicer to each other?

What happened? Have we forgotten so soon how to truly stand together? I pray that we can be that way again without another tragedy.

Take a moment out of this day to watch this 9/11 Tribute and reflect.

So, where were you when it happened? What are your feelings about this day that will live in infamy? Please leave your comments and thoughts.

So, let me start off with the assumption that since you are reading a blog that you also like to read books. If you don't, you should give it another try! Well, I find myself in Barnes and Noble Bookstore ALL the time since it is 2 minutes down the road from me. I enjoy going to the store to peruse the massive selection of books and enjoy a nice, hot White Chocolate Mocha from the Cafe, however recently I have discovered the amazing benefits of shopping online with Barnes and Noble.

Here are some of the benefits of shopping BarnesandNoble.com to list a few:

1. You don't even have to leave home - so you can stay at your computer and read more of your favorite blogs!

2. Take advantage of their FULL range of products, not just what's at the store at the time.

3. With a purchase of just $25, they'll give you 3-day shipping for FREE!4.

4. If you have a Members Card, it saves you money everywhere in the Store AND Online as well.

That brings up a great point, too. If you frequent bookstores in general, or just stop by for your morning latte before work, it pays to get a Members Card. The Card only costs $25/year, and it gets you 10% Savings on EVERYTHING. Over a year, that
way more than pays for the card!

Overall, I have had really great experiences both in-store and online. I totally recommend just going to the store one day on your day off and hanging out, reading all kinds of stuff, sipping on your Cafe Vanilla Frappuccino.

As some of you may know, the highly promoted and highly anticipated new game Spore was release yesterday (September 7th, 2008). Created by mastermind, and creator of The Sims, Will Wright...this game has been in the makings for up to 8 years now, but has finally, FINALLY been released. A few problems with server overloads have already surfaced with everyone trying to access the Online content. Nevertheless, Spore is expected to match or surpass the popularity of The Sims, being the best-selling PC game in history at more than 6.3 million sales worldwide.

Haven't bought Spore yet?? Don't worry, I haven't either, mostly because I'm waiting on my Dell XPS to arrive first. I will definitely be writing a review of the game as soon as I get it and play it some. Until then I would love to hear from everyone who has bought and started playing Spore already.

So, if you have already purchased Spore, please leave some feedback or shoot me an email at soulfire86@gmail.com and tell me ALL about your adventures thus far and your own little review and soon I will post a compilation of readers' thoughts on Spore (as well as a link to your own website or blog if you have one).

If you are looking to purchase Spore or just download the Free Creature Creator, head on over to Spore.com and check it out! (Spore is sold for $49.95)

Let me hear from you!

Ever found yourself sitting on the floor in the aisle of a bookstore engrossed in some new find? That's where I was when I found "Rule the Web", a new book by Mark Frauenfelder, the founder of the popular blog, BoingBoing.net.

As it claims on the cover, this gem is a compilation of "how to do anything and everything on the Internet--better, faster [and] easier." Does that literally mean
anything and everything on the Internet?? Well, no...but it covers so many different topics of interest that by the end of book you'll be willing to forgive Mark for the exaggeration!

Consisting of 11 separate chapters of roughly 33 subtopics, hundreds of questions are answered, thousands of tips given. The book covers everything from Creating Websites and Blogs, Podcasting, Social Networks, Photography, Video, Web Browsers, Online Pharmacies & Health Planners, Security & Privacy, Computer Maintenance and Productivity Tools.

My favorite thing in the book, however, is the never-ending supply of tips on how to find the cheapest music, books, games, flights, programs, software, and even methods of keeping tabs on how much people owe you and what you've lent out.

I definitely recommend that you click on the picture to head over to Amazon to buy this must-have book...wh
ether you're a computer geek to the bone or just looking for some cool ways to utilize your time spent on the Internet! It runs around $11.00, but you can get a used one for as low as $5.00!

Ease of Read: 5 out of 5, It is very down-to-earth, conversational.

Applicability: 5 out of 5, It is 100% applicable to our own use of the Internet.

Innovation: 4.5 out of 5, Some topics are givens, but most are very creative.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5, Excellent and delightful read, and on top of that VERY informative and helpful.
